Ingredients
  

  • 4 ripe pears halved and cored
  • 4 oz goat cheese
  • 3-4 tbsp honey plus extra for drizzling
  • 2 tbsp butter or olive oil melted
  • 0.25 tsp cinnamon
  • 0.25 cup walnuts or pecans chopped
  • fresh thyme optional garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  • Slice pears in half lengthwise and remove cores.
  • Place pears cut-side up in baking dish and brush with butter or oil.
  • Sprinkle with cinnamon and bake for 25–30 minutes until tender.
  • Remove from oven, add goat cheese to each pear, drizzle with honey, and sprinkle nuts.
  • Return to oven for 5 minutes until cheese softens. Garnish and serve warm.
