Ingredients
  

Crust

  • 1 pie crust 9-inch, homemade or store-bought

Filling

  • 6 eggs large
  • 1.5 cups heavy cream
  • 1.5 cups shredded cheese cheddar or Gruyère
  • 8 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 0.25 tsp nutmeg optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Place pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish.
  • Cook bacon until crispy, drain, and crumble.
  • Whisk eggs and cream together until smooth.
  • Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
  • Sprinkle bacon and cheese evenly into the crust.
  • Pour egg mixture over fillings.
  • Bake 35–40 minutes until center is just set.
  • Cool 10–15 minutes before slicing and serving.
