Ingredients
  

Sliders

  • 12 slider buns
  • 1 lb hot Italian sausage cooked and crumbled
  • 1.5 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp parsley chopped
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish.
  • Cook sausage in a skillet until browned. Drain grease.
  • Place bottom buns in dish. Spread marinara, add sausage, then mozzarella and Parmesan.
  • Top with remaining buns.
  • Mix butter, garlic, parsley, and Italian seasoning. Brush on buns.
  • Cover and bake 15 minutes. Uncover and bake 7 minutes until golden.
  • Cool slightly, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

Add pepperoni or provolone for extra flavor.
