Ingredients
  

Pumpkin Bars

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp baking soda
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 1.5 tsp cinnamon
  • 0.5 tsp nutmeg
  • 0.25 tsp cloves
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 0.75 cup brown sugar
  • 0.25 cup maple syrup
  • 1 egg large
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree

Maple Glaze

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1-2 tbsp milk

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking pan.
  • Whisk dry ingredients together.
  • Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
  • Mix in maple syrup, egg, and pumpkin.
  • Combine wet and dry ingredients.
  • Bake 25–30 minutes.
  • Prepare glaze and drizzle.

Notes

For extra chewiness, slightly underbake.
