Ingredients
  

Bite Batter

  • 1 lb sausage cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 1.5 cups sharp cheddar cheese shredded
  • 0.5 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.75 cup whole milk
  • 2 eggs large
  • 3 tbsp butter melted

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare baking pan.
  • Cook sausage until browned, drain, and cool slightly.
  • Mix flour, baking powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Add cheeses and cranberries, toss to coat.
  • Stir in sausage.
  • Whisk milk, eggs, and butter; add to bowl.
  • Scoop batter into pan and bake 15–18 minutes.
  • Cool slightly and serve warm.

Notes

Serve warm with honey mustard or cranberry dip.
