Ingredients
  

Tofu Bowl

  • 14 oz extra-firm tofu pressed and cubed
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce or tamari
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger grated
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 cup broccoli florets steamed
  • 0.5 cup shredded carrots

Instructions
 

  • Press tofu for 20–30 minutes to remove excess moisture.
  • Cut tofu into cubes and toss with cornstarch until coated.
  • Pan-fry tofu in oil until golden and crispy on all sides.
  • Prepare teriyaki sauce by simmering soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil.
  • Toss crispy tofu in the sauce until evenly glazed.
  • Assemble bowls with rice, tofu, and vegetables. Garnish and serve.

Notes

For extra crispiness, avoid overcrowding the pan when frying tofu.
