Ingredients
  

Crust & Crumble

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 0.75 cup granulated sugar
  • 0.5 tsp baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 0.75 cup unsalted butter cold, cubed
  • 1 egg large
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Filling

  • 2 cups cranberries fresh or frozen
  • 0.75 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp orange juice
  • 1 orange zest zest of 1 orange
  • 0.25 cup water

Glaze

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1-2 tbsp milk or cream
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9x13-inch pan with parchment paper.
  • In a saucepan, combine cranberries, sugar, cornstarch, orange juice, zest, and water. Cook until thickened. Set aside.
  • In a bowl, whisk flour, oats, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  • Cut in cold butter until crumbly. Mix in egg and vanilla.
  • Press two-thirds of mixture into pan to form crust.
  • Spread cranberry filling evenly over crust.
  • Sprinkle remaining crumble over top.
  • Bake 35–40 minutes until golden. Cool completely.
  • Whisk glaze ingredients and drizzle over cooled bars before slicing.

Notes

Let bars cool fully before cutting for clean slices.
