Ingredients
  

Steak Marinade

  • 1.5 lb flank steak thinly sliced
  • 0.25 cup soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger grated
  • 2 tbsp gochujang

Bowls

  • 3 cups cooked rice
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1 cup sliced cucumber

Instructions
 

  • Whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and gochujang.
  • Add sliced steak to marinade and toss to coat. Marinate at least 15 minutes.
  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat with a small amount of oil.
  • Cook steak for 2–3 minutes per side until caramelized and cooked through.
  • Divide rice into bowls and top with steak and vegetables.
  • Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions. Serve hot.

Notes

Adjust gochujang for desired spice level.
