Ingredients
  

Bread Batter

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp baking soda
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 0.75 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs large
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 1.5 cups blueberries fresh or frozen

Cream Cheese Swirl

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 0.25 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9x5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper.
  • Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla.
  • Mix in dry ingredients alternating with milk until just combined.
  • Fold in blueberries gently.
  • Beat cream cheese, sugar, egg yolk, and vanilla until smooth.
  • Layer batter and cream cheese mixture into pan, swirling gently.
  • Bake 50–60 minutes until set. Cool before slicing.

Notes

Use room-temperature ingredients for the smoothest batter and swirl.
