Ingredients
  

Dough

  • 3.75 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.25 cup granulated sugar
  • 2.25 tsp active dry yeast
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.75 cup warm milk
  • 0.25 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 egg large
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Cheesecake Filling

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 0.33 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Strawberry Filling

  • 1.5 cups fresh strawberries chopped
  • 0.33 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp lemon juice

Instructions
 

  • Activate yeast in warm milk with sugar.
  • Mix in butter, egg, vanilla, salt, and flour to form dough.
  • Knead until smooth and let rise 1 hour.
  • Prepare strawberry filling and cheesecake filling.
  • Roll dough, spread fillings, roll and slice.
  • Let rise again 30 minutes.
  • Bake at 350°F for 25–28 minutes.
  • Glaze and serve warm.

Notes

Best served warm. Can be made ahead and refrigerated overnight before baking.
