Ingredients
  

Salad Base

  • 2 red onions thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp ground sumac
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice fresh
  • 3 tbsp olive oil extra virgin
  • 0.5 tsp salt to taste
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 0.5 cup parsley chopped

Instructions
 

  • Thinly slice the red onions and place in a bowl.
  • Sprinkle with salt and gently massage to soften.
  • Add sumac, lemon juice, and olive oil.
  • Toss until evenly coated.
  • Fold in chopped parsley.
  • Rest 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Best served fresh. Adjust lemon and salt to taste.
