Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice fresh
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 0.25 tsp red pepper flakes optional

Instructions
 

  • Pat shrimp dry and season with salt and pepper.
  • Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Cook shrimp 1–2 minutes per side until opaque. Remove and set aside.
  • Lower heat, add remaining butter and garlic. Cook 30 seconds.
  • Stir in lemon juice, zest, and red pepper flakes.
  • Return shrimp to skillet and toss to coat.
  • Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.

Notes
