Ingredients
  

Bite Mixture

  • 1 lb breakfast sausage pork or turkey
  • 1.5 cups sharp cheddar cheese shredded
  • 0.75 cup dried cranberries chopped
  • 1.25 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp onion powder
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs large
  • 0.25 cup milk

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, mix sausage, cheese, and cranberries until combined.
  • In another bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, and salt.
  • Add dry ingredients to sausage mixture and stir well.
  • In a small bowl, beat eggs with milk and add to mixture.
  • Mix until thick dough forms.
  • Roll into tablespoon-sized balls and place on baking sheet.
  • Bake 18–22 minutes until golden and cooked through.

Notes

Serve warm with honey mustard or maple dijon for dipping.
