Ingredients
  

Pastry

  • 2 sheets puff pastry thawed
  • 1 cup strawberry jam
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 tbsp milk

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line baking sheet with parchment.
  • Mix cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  • Roll puff pastry and cut into squares.
  • Fold corners to form hearts and place on tray.
  • Add cream cheese and strawberry jam.
  • Brush edges with egg wash.
  • Bake 18–22 minutes until golden.
  • Cool and dust with powdered sugar.

Notes

Do not overfill to prevent leaking.
